Privacy
Your social life should stay yours.
HangWave is being built around intentional sharing, smaller social spaces, and collecting the information needed to run the account or feature you choose to use—not around turning your private life into the product.
Protected identity
Your sign-in, recovery, verification, and account status are handled through HangWave's central account system so the website does not need to maintain a separate copy of your identity.
Intentional sharing
Circles are designed to make the audience understandable. Some experiences may be broader or public, but smaller social spaces should not silently become public broadcasts.
Optional communication
Marketing and launch updates are optional. They are not required simply because you create an account.
Data should have a reason to exist
Location, messaging, Market, discovery, and other product data should be collected because a feature needs it—not because a profile can accumulate it.
The product should help you connect to people without asking you to give up control of your social life.
